Cara - The Perfect Holiday Cottage
This is the Cara website that was used to describe the Holiday Cottage known as Cara.
It was located in West Devon in a rural village and operated from 2013 to 2016. We closed it down having proved its overwhelming success The question was: can you create the perfect holiday cottage? No ifs. No buts.
The hypothesis was to think through each detail from the visitor's perspective, maintaining quality and cleanliness and maximising revenue through repeat booking and recommendations rather than advertising.
The experiment proved not only that you can, but that it would be profitable while still being within most visitor's budget.
The site cannot be accessed directly from the internet due to external pressures, but the Hot Tub icon above will take you to the "Hot Tub" page from where you can navigate to the rest of the site.
